About the ED

  • About 9,000 patient visits per year

  • 12- and 13-hour shifts: days (7a–7p) and nights (6p–7a)

  • Second provider on from days through swing

  • Epic EMR

  • Rural CAH

  • On-site support from anesthesia, OB, general surgery, and a hospitalist program

What we offer

  • $285/hour

Qualifications

  • MD or DO

  • Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (Family Medicine Physicians with significant ED experience are encouraged to apply)

  • Active Iowa medical license, or ability to obtain one (Iowa participates in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact)

  • Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS

  • Within reasonable driving distance of Decorah, IA (La Crosse, Rochester, Waterloo/Cedar Falls, Mason City, Dubuque, and surrounding areas)
